HSBC contracts seven new projects |

HSBC contracts seven additional projects with Bank Builders. The existing branches are to be renovated and brought up to HSBC updated specifications and branch guidelines. HSBC has almost 400 branches in New York State, as well as 11 branches in Florida, six in California, and one branch each in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Washington State and Washington, D.C. |

North Port Peninsula Bank to open in February |
North Port Peninsula Bank kicks off the Florida West Coast expansion. The 6,000 square foot Branch is scheduled to open in February, 2009. Peninsula Bank is headquartered in Englewood, Florida and presently has 13 branches. Five branches are located in Palm Beach County, one branch in Broward County and one in Miami-Dade County on the east coast of Florida, with three branches located in Charlotte County and three in Sarasota County on the west coast of Florida.

Bank Builders completes its 10th HSBC Branch |

The Boca Raton Branch was completed marking the 10th HSBC project completed within one year. Headquartered in London, HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organizations in the world. HSBC's international network comprises around 9,500 offices in 86 countries and territories in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa.

Tropical Credit Union opens in West Palm Beach |

Bank Builders completed the finishing touches on the up-scale Credit Union on Okeechobee Boulevard ready for the grand opening. This project features many innovative design concepts including hanging light fixtures resembling airplane wings, hanging on stranded stainless steel wire, from a 20 foot vaulted ceiling. |

Colonial Bank Drive-Thru ATM stolen |
|
Over the weekend a group of rather brazen thieves took a heavy-equipment, front-end loader from a construction site nearby, only to use it to remove the ATM from the drive-thru island. Bank Builders made all repairs and new ATM was in place the following week. |

Fifth Third Bank starts East Coast expansion |
|
Bank Builders commenced construction on the Pembroke Pines Branch. This is the start of many more in the pipeline for Fifth Third. Construction will be complete by May. Today, Fifth Third operates 16 affiliates with over 1,291 full-service locations in 12 different states. In 1948, it became the first financial institution in the United States to establish a charitable foundation. |

Bank Builders completes its 900th Financial Project |

The Region’s Bank Project in the Abocoa area of Jupiter, Florida is a large financial center. The 16,000 square foot facility is Region’s Palm Beach flagship and also houses their brokerage arm, Morgan Keegan. Regions Financial Corporation was formed in 1971 as First Alabama Bancshares Inc., Alabama 's first multibank holding company and now has over 1900 branches. |
